Ionela Sierra is the founder, owner, and managing attorney at Sierra Ambrosio Law Firm. Ionela's focus is on humanitarian cases, removal work, and family-based immigration and humanitarian cases, including U visa and VAWA, waivers, and special immigrant juvenile cases. 

 

She is the coordinator volunteer attorney for the Faith and Justice Alliance, organizing quarterly pro bono legal clinics in Murfreesboro, TN. She has pationately and faithfully volunteered for the legal clinics at several churches for the last 10 years. Ionela has served as the AILA Midsouth asylum liaison for the New Orleans Asylum Office since 2023.

Ionela is originally from Romania, she graduated with a Juris Degree from the University of Bucharest, in her native country, and with a law degree from the Vanderbilt University, in Nashville, TN.

She speaks fluently English, Spanish, and Romanian. Ionela was licensed to practice law in 2015 and she was admitted before the Middle District Court of Tennessee in 2023. 

Ionela and her husband are the lead servants of the Latino Ministry at Bethel Community Church, Murfreesboro, TN. They have five children and one dog.
